The PTET (Pre-Teacher Education Test) is a state-level exam. The PTET Examination is taken by The Dungar College of Bikaner in Rajasthan. This exam is happened two times in a year for getting admissions in B.Ed. ( For Two-Year course) & B.A. B.Ed./ B.Sc. B.Ed (For Four-year course). This exam is taken by PTET for the candidates who want to become teachers as his/her profession in the future. 

The Admit Card will be provided by Dungar College 7 days before the date of the examination. After the release of the Admit Card, the candidates will be able to download their admit cards via the official website by filling up the required details.

How To Download Admit Card:

The procedure for getting the PTET Admit Card is as given below-

  1. The candidate must have to visit the official website ptetdcb2020.com.
  2. After that, on the home page of the computer screen, where the candidates have to find and click on the Rajasthan PTET Admit Card 2020 link.
  3. Then, on the next page, the candidates need to enter the asked details as login credentials, such as their roll number and other login credentials.
  4. After that, press Enter & click the button indicating Proceed.
  5. Finally, the Rajasthan PTET Admit Card will appear on the computer screen. 
  6. After this, the candidates will be able to download the admit cards via a click on the Download option.

Syllabus and Marking Scheme And Other Important Details:

  • In the very nature of competitive Examination, no syllabus has been prescribed. It is an exercise to pick up the best.
    However, the following pages contain a broad outline.
  • The PTET Examination will consist of one question paper containing the following four Sections: Mental Ability
     Teaching attitude & Aptitude Test
     General Awareness.and
     Language Proficiency (Hindi or English)
  • Section A: Mental ability Section shall consist of 50 objective type multiple choice questions to test the following
    abilities:
  • Reasoning
  • Imagination
  • Judgment & Decision Making
  • Creative Thinking
  • Generalization
  • Drawing Inferences, etc.
    Section B: Teaching Attitude and Aptitude Test Section shall consist of 50 questions mainly in the following areas:
  • Social Maturity
  • Leadership
  • Professional Commitment
  • Interpersonal Relations
  • Communication
  • Awareness, etc.
    This will be the test of attitudes and awareness in which answers to
    questions will be scored on a scale of 3, 2, 1, and 0.
    Section C: General awareness Section shall consist of 50 objective type multiple choice questions mainly in the
    following areas:
  • Current affairs (national & International)
  • (Indian History & Culture
  • India, and its natural resources
  • Great Indian personalities (Past and Present)
  • Environmental awareness
  • Knowledge about Rajasthan, etc.
    Section D: Language Proficiency (English or Hindi) Section shall consist of 50 Objective type multiple choice
    questions regarding proficiency in Hindi or English Language mainly related to the following aspects:
  • Vocabulary,
  • Functional Grammar,
  • Sentence structures,
  • Comprehension etc.

Guidelines regarding admission to Pre-Teacher Education Test:-

Important Exam Day Precautions For Candidate

  1. All questions in Question-Paper shall be objective type multiple choice questions with at least four alternative answers.
  2. The paper will be set both in English and Hindi except in the Language proficiency Section. In case of discrepancy
  3. In options of answers or in question paper the English version shall be treated as final.
  4. The duration of the paper shall be 3 hours.
  5. Each question will carry 3 marks and the maximum marks in the paper shall be 600.
  6. Full 3 marks will be awarded for each correct answer. In Attitude & Aptitude Section, however, the answers will be scaled on a scale of 3 to 0 marks. This means that answers to each question will carry a weightage of 3,2,1, and 0.
  7. The question paper of each section will be in the form of a test booklet containing 50 questions bearing number 1,2,3,……..50. There would be at least four alternatives suggested answers (A) (B) (C) (D) etc to each question.
  8. The candidate will be required to choose the correct answer and darken the correct circle by Ball Pen only.
  9. Mark should be dark and circle filled completely.
  10. Darken only one circle for each question.
  11. Filling more than one circle for any question or not erasing a mark fully for changing answers will mean rejection of the answer.
  12. Rough work must be done on the answer sheet.
  13. The answer sheet will be collected from the candidates at the end of the Examination.
  14. Assessment will be made only on the basis of the answer sheets.
